Road trips! Camping! New bike! Heritage festival! August is for enjoying summer :)
Getting a new bike really upped my expenses this month! I offset it by selling my old bike ($50) and collecting from the person who ran over my bike ($200), but I don't include money coming in on my spending report >.<
Here's my spending breakdown:
- Underwear: $29.37
- Groceries: $116.49
- New bike: $311.83
- Restaurants: $60.03
- Birthday gift: $30
- Camping and road trip: $78.44 (food, gas, and campsite, and firewood)
- Wedding gift and dinner: $82.82
- Ikea: $12.58
- Gift: $7.88
- Stamp to send letter: $1.33
- Subtotal of variable spending: $730.77
- Subtotal of fixed expenses (rent, insurance, utilities, interwebs, phone, and Netflix): $485
Grand total of all August expenses: $730.77 + $485 = $1,215.77
I failed my challenge for the 6th month in a row haha. Oh wells, better luck next month!
